00 / Introduction

Understand the world.
Discover the story in the books.

This archive documents the world around Still Nam: the development of rejuvenation, the institutions built around it, and the visual research created for the project. It deliberately avoids plot summaries.

01 / World history

Working historical framework

How the world chose one future.

The World Concord did not endure through force alone. It made unification useful, then ordinary, then difficult to imagine living without. Confirmed facts are separated from the connective history still being developed.

01 / Peace

End the old conflicts.

A single authority promises that borders will no longer be reasons for generations of war.

02 / Provision

Make unity tangible.

Health, recovery and shared infrastructure become the daily evidence that cooperation works.

03 / Continuation

Turn life into a contract.

The greatest medical gift becomes the strongest argument that every citizen owes something back.

  1. Canon

    C–01

    The World Concord forms

After a century scarred by nationalist conflict, the Concord presents world unification as a practical route to lasting peace. It comes to control most recognised territory. Its name promises voluntary harmony even as meaningful refusal narrows.

  2. Working

    C–02

    Coordination earns consent

Shared disaster response, vaccination, food and water standards, and cross-border clinical care give unification a visible purpose. Concord authority grows through systems people use, not only laws they are made to obey.

  3. Working

    C–03

    Medicine becomes civic proof

Preventing death becomes the clearest measure of good government. Long research programmes in trauma recovery, prosthetics, organ repair and regenerative medicine receive the prestige once reserved for military and national projects.

  4. Working

    C–04

    Repair becomes renewal

Better diagnostics preserve damaged bodies; regenerative treatments restore tissue; cellular-age control extends healthy life. Rejuvenation emerges from this medical staircase—a convergence of practical advances rather than magic arriving all at once.

  5. Canon

    C–05

    The miracle works

Clinical rejuvenation can reverse physical age while preserving the person’s legal and remembered continuity. The Concord can now make a promise no previous government could make: another lifetime.

  6. Canon + Working

    C–06

    A right becomes a debt

Continuation becomes standard public infrastructure and mandatory at one hundred. The state provides youth, retains the same legal identity, and requires five years of second-life service in return.

02 / Rejuvenation

Working historical framework

The miracle, frame by frame.

The technology is established canon. Dr Suda Kittisak and the exact path to the first breakthrough are the current working history. This timeline keeps that developing record separate from confirmed world facts.

Canon

Confirmed world rule.

Working

Current historical solution.

Open

Deliberately undecided.

  1. Working

    H–01

    Several sciences converge

Regenerative medicine, organ repair, cellular-age control and neural preservation develop into a whole-body process. The current framework treats rejuvenation as a convergence, not one miraculous invention by a single celebrated figure.

  2. Canon

    H–02

    The procedure is operational

A confirmed continuation in 2035 establishes that clinical rejuvenation is already available by this date. It can reverse physical age while preserving legal and remembered continuity.

  3. Working

    H–03

    Treatment becomes infrastructure

The World Concord standardises clinics, records and bodily-selection protocols. Official language changes too: the state calls the event a continuation, making the medical procedure part of civic identity.

  4. Canon

    H–04

    Access becomes obligation

Rejuvenation is mandatory at one hundred. A standard citizen receives one procedure, keeps the same legal identity, and owes five years of second-life service. Further procedures are rare and politically controlled.

  5. Canon

    H–05

    The modern clinical model

The subject returns to physical youth and may deliberately select bodily changes. Memory is meant to remain continuous. The result is youth—not invulnerability, instant healing or freedom from trauma.

  6. Working

    H–06

    Suda leads the synthesis

The current prequel follows Dr Suda Kittisak from an unexpected 2028 tissue result to the first human continuation in 2035. She is the protocol’s lead architect, not a lone genius. Read The Second Promise →

03 / Clinical parameters

What continuation changes.

01 / Body

Physical age reverses.

The subject returns to a young adult body and can choose deliberate bodily changes during the standard procedure.

02 / Memory

Continuity is intended.

The procedure is designed to preserve memory and legal personhood, although age and trauma still make recall imperfect.

03 / Limits

Youth is not superhuman.

Rejuvenated bodies bruise, tire, cramp and recover. There is no instant healing, powered armour or impossible strength.

04 / Cost

The state writes the terms.

One standard continuation is provided at one hundred. The Concord turns it into a civic debt through compulsory service.

04 / Life in 2050

Canon + working social framework

A familiar world.
One impossible gift.

Daily life is comfortable, functional and recognisable. The Concord’s control rarely announces itself as cruelty; it appears as a clinic appointment, an identity check, an employment condition or a calm official phrase.

Governance

One system, many local lives.

The Concord controls most recognised territory while cities and communities retain familiar cultures and routines. Central power is strongest in records, standards, movement and access.

Age

One hundred is a threshold, not an ending.

Citizens plan for continuation as a normal stage of life. Physical youth no longer reveals experience, authority, grief or the number of lives someone has already lived.

Work + family

Generations overlap differently.

Working culture, inheritance and family roles must account for adults returning to youth while their children and grandchildren continue ageing. The body changes; old habits and relationships do not simply reset.

Cities + technology

The future remains recognisable.

Hospitals, trains, aircraft, screens, cameras and conventional weapons have improved without becoming fantastical. Rejuvenation is the single extraordinary leap.

Public language

Control sounds reassuring.

A procedure is a continuation. Conscription is second-life service. Opposition territory is an unresolved jurisdiction. Administration makes coercion feel ordinary.

Outside the consensus

Unity did not end disagreement.

The Many began with a defensible belief: humanity should preserve many cultures, governments and ways of living. Some outlying communities still organise life locally beyond full Concord control.
